Every class is designed to balance enjoyment with purposeful learning, helping our youngest players build learn and developing valuable qualities such as teamwork, confidence, and of course, master football skills. Classes are led by an experienced, qualified coaching team who create a positive, supportive environment where every child can progress at their own pace whilst having fun.

Age & Skill Grouped Classes
Our football classes are carefully grouped by age and ability, allowing younger players to build confidence and develop core skills at their own pace. Alongside expert coaching, children form friendships, gain social confidence, and enjoy a fun, supportive environment that nurtures long-term growth in football as well as developing a strong skill-set for other sports.
Professional Coaching Team
The academy currenlty has 11 coaches who are experienced, passionate and take a nurtured approach when delivering classes. Classes are organised, structured and challenging.
Our Harefield Venue
The academy has run a full programme of classes at our main venue at Harefield School, Uxbridge, since 2012 - expanding into St Albans on 13th September 2026. Coaching will be held in the sports hall during winter and outdoor astro during summer 2027.
Where to Find Us
Classes run over the weekend - on Saturday at our Harefield Venue and Sundays at our new venue at St Columba’s College, King Harry Lane, St Albans. AL3 4AW. Coaching includes skill-based drills, team activities, and matches.

We hold classes starting for children aged 3 years old, up to 10.

Yes! Every child is welcome at Northwood Football Academy with new dedicated girls classes held on Sunday mornings.

Upon enrolment, your child will receive an official NFA training kit with first name printed on the back of the shirt. Your child will need to wear football ASTRO trainers to aid development and prevent slipping. Laces are preferred over straps.

None whatsoever! We structure our classes to accommodate for kids of all ability levels between the ages of 4-10. Classes are designed to build the core foundations of your child’s footballing skillset.
